THE ROGUE CHEF is a concept created by Sydney’s finest Chefs in order to provide a solution to the growing problems in the hospitality industry.

Problems identified have included an increasing lack of respect for Chefs and their trade, ‘dumbing down’ of the industry via the media and the Australian government and a sharp decrease in quality of Chefs in general and their skill/knowledge levels.

This has led to lower rates of pay in relation to the general workforce as well as an overall feeling of dissatisfaction in the industry. It has also resulted in the facts that many of our best Chefs are lost to overseas markets or just drop out of the industry altogether, jaded and perplexed, never to be seen again…
